Job Description (Junior Research Fellow)

National Institute of Hydrology invites applications through e-mail for the following purely project-based temporary position under the NHP project at the Central India Hydrology_ Regional Centre. WALM1 Campus Bhopal (M.P.). Junior Research Fellow

Qualification

Essential:

M.E./M.Tech. in Water Resources Engineering / Hydrology/Civil Engineering/Agricultural Engineering/Remote sensing and GIS/Geomatics. Selected through a process described through any of the following:


a. Scholars qualifying National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and/or GATE.
b. National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, BITs etc.

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having good experience in hydrological modelling & irrigation planning, good knowledge in groundwater modeling alongwith expertise in use of GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, ERDAS etc. Ph.D. (Engineering/Science) is desirable
