The Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology invites applications from eligible candidates for Project Scientist, Research Associate-3, Research Associate-1, Junior Research Fellow and Laboratory Assistant for the duration of the Project on purely temporary basis.

Expected work:

The nature of project work includes cartographic skills, statistical analysis, satellite image interpretation, GIS database creation, field visits and map generation, atlas generation, database management, report writing, data entry, etc.

Research Associate-3: Cartographic skills, satellite image interpretation, GIS database creation, field visits and map composition, map description, etc.
Junior Research Fellow: Satellite image interpretation, Database creation and management, Statistical analysis, Knowledge of digital cartography, MS-Word and MS-Excel, etc.

Research Associate-3	Rs. 40,000 / – Number of positions 01 [Project Duration approximately 06 month extendable proportionately for additional districts if allotted.]	Post Graduate Degree in Geography / Geology 05 years of working experience in Remote Sensing / GIS. Training in Remote Sensing / GIS / Geo- informatics is desirable Candidates with knowledge of Manual and Digital Cartography will be preferred
Junior Research Fellow	Rs. 25,000 / – Number of positions 01 [Project Duration approximately 06 month extendable proportionately for additional districts if allotted.]	1. Post Graduate Degree in Geography / Geology 2. Having knowledge of Remote Sensing / GIS / Geo-Informatics data handling / Digital Cartography / Statistical analysis / Computer Applications
Project Scientist	Rs. 49,000/- Number of positions 01 [Project Duration approximately 12 month]	M.E. / M.Tech in Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics or equivalent or Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent. With B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent or Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent or Geoinformatics / Geomatics or equivalent. Five years of Working experience in Geoweb services/ Spatial Decision Support System / Mobile Application/ Geospatial Dashboard analysis, etc. Experience in Drone survey /data collection /data processing /data analysis
Research Associate-1	Rs. 36,000/ – Number of positions 01 [Project Duration approximately 12 month]	M.E. / M.Tech in Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics or equivalent or Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent. With B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent or Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent or Geoinformatics / Geomatics or equivalent. Three years of Working experience in Geoweb services / Spatial Decision Support System / Mobile Application/ Geospatial Dashboard analysis, etc. Experience in Drone survey / data collection /data processing /data analysis.
