Job Description (Young Professional-II | Research Associate (RA) | Senior Research Fellow (SRF))

The eligible candidates are invited for walk-in-interview on 22.O6.2022 at 10.00 a.m. for the following temporary positions purely on contractual basis under World Bank funded programme on Rejuvenating Watersheds for Agricultural Resilience through Innovative Development IREWARD) :-

Educational Qualification:

Young Professional-II: Masters in Remote sensing & GIS /Ceoinformatics/ Computer science. OR Graduate in Geoinformatics /Computer science with 4-year degree with at least 60% marks and one year experience in relevant field. Desirable: Working knowledge and experience of working in GIS and remote sensing.

Research Associate (RA): Doctoral Degree in Soil & Water Conservation Soil Science/Civil Engineering With specialization in Hydrology. OR M.Tech/M.Sc in Soil & water conservation/Soil Science/ Civil Engineering (Specialisation in Hydrology) with at least 4 years of Bachelor’s degree having I’t division or at least 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with at least minimum 3 years of research experience in relevant field as evidenced from fellowship/ associateship /training/other engagement and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/ NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF): M.Sc (Agri) Soil Science/ Agronomy with minimum 4 years bachelor degree. Candidates with having Master’s Degree in the above subjects with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience. Desirable:-Working experience in soil survey & mapping, data interpretation and report preparation, working experience of computer (M S Office) 2. NET qualification.
