Job Description (Project Assistant, Field Researcher, Field Assistant):

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for following purely project based temporary positions under Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) funded projects at Himachal Regional Center of the Institute. Candidate having adequate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic records and experience may send their complete application in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) with all supporting documents to the undersigned by e-mail (headhrc@gmail.com, rksingh@gbpihed.nic.in) on or before 26 December, 2021. It is essential to mention the position with serial no. and name of the project applied for in the subject line of e-mail and also in the application form. The shortlisted candidates will be informed separately about the date of interview. The interview will be held either physical or virtual mode (Audio/Video) as the conditions deemed fit due to COVID-19 scenario.

1	Project Assistant (01) Rs. 24,000/- p.m. fixed Age Limit: 32 years	First class Master Degree in Environmental Science/Zoology/ Remote Sensing & GIS /Soil Science from a recognized University with two years research experience	Preference will be given to the candidate having at least two years research experience on data collection, data analysis, documentation, organization of meetings & training programs, and knowledge on RS/GIS software including ERDAS Imagine and Arc GIS.	Assessment of Soil Quality, Erosion and Siltation around Sainj HEPAssessment of change in migration pattern of aquatic and terrestrial fauna. Assessment of aquatic ecology.Training, field demonstration to stakeholders.
2.	Field Researcher	First class Master Degree in Remote	Preference will be given to the candidate having Experience in data collection, documentation, knowledge on RS/GIS software including ERDAS Imagine and Arc GIS.	Collection of preliminary baseline data.Assessment of Change in landuse pattern of the Study area. Assessment of aquatic ecologyTraining, field demonstration to stakeholders.

Field Assistant (FA) (01 no.) Rs. 10,000/- per month fixed. Age limit: 50 years*

Graduation (or) Intermediate with 5 years experience in assisting R&D based projects in the Himalayan Region.

Preference will be given to the candidate having skills of public dealing, working experience in the remote field areas and having working skills in laboratory & computer.

Assistance in lab & field activities and organization of training programs.

Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.
