Job Description ( Young Professional-II)

One post of Young Professional-II is available in the ICAR- NBSS&LUP, Regional Centre, Delhi in the ICAR-institutional projects purely on contractual basis. The details along with interview date and venue are as under:

Essential Qualifications

Post Graduate degree in Soil Science / Environmental Science / Remote Sensing & GIS / Geo-informatics/ Geography

Desirable:

i. Knowledge and working experience in soil and land resource data interpretation; land resource database handling, and data analysis in RS & GIS based softwares & Soil analysis.

ii. Good communication and writing skill as evident through research paper publication.

iii. Good knowledge of statistical & GIS software.

Emoluments (Fixed per month): Rs. 35000/- pm month (Fixed)

Term & Condition:

i. Age limit: Maximum age is 45 years with relaxation as per GOI rules.
ii. The post is purely temporary and will be up to 31′ March 2022 or till completion of the Project

iii. Services of YP-II may be terminated prior termination of project.
iv. The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
v. The interview of eligible candidates will be held according to schedule given above.

vi. The candidates will have to compulsorily bring the filled in application form (as per the format annexed), all the original certificates from matriculation onwards. date of birth certificate. NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional and one set of the self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted on the application form. Proof of experience and publications also need to be submitted.

vii. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

viii. Only the candidates meeting essential as well as desirable qualifications would be interviewed

ix. Concealing of facts or canvassing In any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.
x. The candidates are required to submit the application at the time of interview as per the format annexed along with the declaration

xi. The candidate intending to attend the interview. if any of his/ her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICARJNBSSRLIJP, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach Head, NBSS&LUP, Regional Centre, New Delhi at the time of submitting the form. If on the date of interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/NEISS&LIW, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.
xii All the other candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.
xiii The candidates have to strictly submit the form annexed (typed/filled) duly signed and submit on the date of interview
xiv. Reporting time for interview: 10:00 AM at Regional Centre, NBSS&LUP, IARI Campus Pusa, New Delhi- 110012
