Description (Field Assistant):
Applications are invited for the temporary project position of Field Assistant —one number to work in the RUSA project Phase -2, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai project entitled ” Environmental Impact Assessment of Water bodies and its associated environment in selected altitudes of Southern Tamil Nadu”.
i) Field Assistant (One Number):
The Project Work involves extensive field work and Sample Collection in the course of the project period.
ii) a. Essential Qualification: A First Class M.Sc., in Environmental Science / Zoology or other branch of Life Sciences.
b. Desirable Qualification:
➢ Knowledge in Hydobiology works
➢ Experience in GPS /GIS techniques.
➢ NET Passed / MKU Ph.D., entrance Passed candidate with interest to undergo the registration of Ph.D., Degree in Environmental Sciences / Zoology or other branch of Life Sciences with a Certification
iii) Fellowship: Rs.10,000 (Consolidated) per month.
